Rachel Goodrich – Na Na Na

It’s not very often that you see the phrase “vaudeville-inspired” in the modern age, but it’s what precedes Rachel Goodrich’s unique blend of pop, exemplified in the utterly infectious “Na Na Na.” It’s a wonderful blend of vintage sounds wrapped in a modern song, enough that it could be one of those gems that you find on ancient 7″s covered in dust and scatches, that is if it didn’t sound so new. Goodrich comes out of Miami and the ever-present sunniness of that city comes through in her bright, upbeat sound. “Na Na Na” should, at the very least, make you bop your head and smile a little.

Goodrich is coming out with her self-titled sophomore album in February  via Yellow Bear Recordsand if this track is any indication, it’ll be worth picking up for its uniqueness alone. You can download “Na Na Na” and her Light Bulb EP for free via her bandcamp.
