Admiral Fallow – Squealing Pigs

By Sam.

“Squealing Pigs” is one of those songs that covers a lot of ground. From it’s acoustic, to hokey breakdown of a bridge to its poppy chorus and self-depreciating lyrics. The song’s a bit of a journey in and of itself; starting slow and ending big. It feels a little silly to even try to describe, so just listen.

Admiral Fallow’s pretty obviously Scottish (Glasgow) and make no bones about trying to sing without an accent. It’s a a bit of a novelty at first, but hardly a gimmick–you’ll get used to it quickly. Their debut, Boots Met My Face is out now and definitely worth picking up.

This was on the “For the Fall” playlist, but I like it so much I gave it its own post.
